Canadian worms for fishing
The Lumbricus Terrestris, or Canadian worm, is the largest worm we offer, measuring between 15 and 20 cm with an average weight of 4 g. Its dark red colouring and flattened posterior end make it easily recognisable. Each order is carefully prepared: the worms are sorted and packed on the day of dispatch to ensure freshness, vitality, and excellent health upon arrival. The worms are weighed, not counted.
These worms are suitable for angling many species of freshwater fish, such as barbel, bream, carp, chub, roach, perch, rudd, tench, trout, eel, or catfish. They can be used whole or cut into pieces to increase their attractiveness.

Moutta Farm adds a specific substrate equal to twice the weight of the worms, recreating an ideal biotope that fosters their wellbeing and longevity. This packaging ensures you robust, active worms ready for use, mainly for fishing or as a food supplement for certain animals.
These worms are not suitable for worm composters. For storage, place them at the bottom of the refrigerator between 3 and 7 °C and add cardboard or paper cut into small pieces to recreate an optimal substrate. Packed in a box or micro-perforated bag, they remain lively and active for several weeks, ready to use for fishing or feeding your animals.
