I've been using it for a great many years. A bit dirty, but like new!
However, that's the reason for only 4 stars: from time to time the tap gets blocked, I don't know by what. And it's very hard to unblock. I use a twist tie, a plastic strip around a thin metal wire, the kind used for bags of sweets, for example. If you have a better idea, I'd be glad to hear it.

Je l'utilise depuis de très nombreuses années. Un peu sale, mais comme neuf !
En revanche, c'est ce qui justifie 4 étoiles seulement, de temps en temps le robinet est bouché, je ne sais pas par quoi. Et il est très difficile à déboucher. J'utilise une attache plastique entourant un fil métallique fin, qui sert pour des paquets de bonbons par exemple. Si vous avez une meilleure idée, je serais heureux de le savoir.

Fast delivery and the items arrived in good condition. The worm composter is great (it's in the kitchen, no smell, no flies). Practical, and it makes a great fertilizer ;)

Livraison rapide et articles en bon état. Le lombricompost est super (il est la cuisine, pas d'odeur, pas de mouches). Pratique et cela fait un super engrais ;)

Great product. We've been using it for almost 3 years now, the worms have multiplied well, and we've added 2 more trays.

I find that the first tray doesn't sit well on the juice collector and is hard to fit in place, especially if you have to handle it when it's full.
The instruction leaflet wasn't in the package. So the start was really tough, and of course it was a weekend. The information on the website isn't enough, and it takes time to piece everything together.
I asked for the leaflet by email, and it was sent to me without a word, no apology and no invitation to contact you if there's a problem.
Result: a good part of the worms escaped, I have to switch on my computer every time I look for information in the leaflet, there is mold in the worm composter, and I don't know if that's normal. I feel a bit alone in this adventure.

Je trouve que le 1er panier ne tient pas bien sur le réceptacle à jus et qu'il est difficile à loger, d'autant plus si on doit le manipuler plein.
Je n'avais pas la notice dans le colis. Donc dur dur le démarrage, évidemment un week-end. Les infos sur le site ne suffisent pas, et ça prend du temps de tout récupérer.
J'ai demandé la notice par mail, on me l'a envoyée sans un mot, pas d'excuse ni d'invitation à vous contacter en cas de problème.
Résultat: une bonne partie des vers s'est fait la malle, je suis obligée d'allumer mon ordinateur à chaque fois que je cherche des informations dans la notice, j'ai de la moisissure dans le lombricomposteur, et je ne sais pas si c'est normal. Je me sens un peu seule dans cette aventure.

It's perfect. The worms feel very much at home in it, because they are multiplying.
I'm giving it a 4 because it's a bit lacking in looks.
It's very mobile, you can easily move it from inside to outside.
The compost it produces is of very good quality.

Il est parfait. Les vers s'y sentent très bien, car ils prolofèrent.
Je met la note de 4, car il manque un peu d'esthétique.
Il est tres mobile, on peut le déplacer facilement de l'intérieur vers l'extérieur.
Le terreau qu'il produit est de très bonne qualité.

With 5 of us, we produce a bit too much green waste for the family size to be comfortable all year round. The black color shows dirt easily. The tap is useless: it has been blocked since the start. The worms regularly drown in the liquid. Very messy to empty. An enormous number of fruit flies get in through the small holes, and cleaning with black soap isn't always enough.

Apart from all that, I'm very happy to be able to compost in the city!

A 5, on produit un peu trop de déchets verts pour que le format familial soit confortable tout au long de l'année. La couleur noire est salissante. Le robinet ne sert à rien : il est bouché depuis le début. Les vers se noient dans le jus régulièrement. Très salissant à vider. Enormément de moucherons arrivent par les petits trous et le nettoyage au savon noir ne suffit pas toujours.

à part tout ça, je suis très satisfaite de la possibilité de composter en ville !

Very practical, very effective

Très pratique, très efficace

The WORMbox worm composter is effective and very easy to set up; I bought mine 5 years ago and I highly recommend it.

The worms are doing well and multiplying! Over the past 3 years, I've gradually added the trays, and this spring I'll be able to use the compost I've got.

Les vers se portent bien et se multiplient ! Depuis 3 ans, j ai ajouté progressivement les étages et je vais pouvoir ce printemps, utiliser le terreau obtenu.

Very easy to use and very effective. The accompanying booklet provides clear, precise instructions and answers all practical questions.

Très simple d'utilisation et très performant. Le livret d'accompagnement fournit un mode d'emploi clair et précis et répond à toutes les questions pratiques.

A bit too big for me, I think.
The wheel fixings are rather weak: 2 have already broken even though I hardly ever move it, and it is now wobbly and difficult to handle.
There was little choice of video conference dates for learning how to use it. I couldn't attend the whole session, and it was said I would be able to watch the replay, but I have had no feedback on that.

Un peu trop grand pour moi je pense.
Fixation des roues plutôt faibles déjà 2 cassées alors que je le bouge peu, il est maintenant bancale et difficile à manipuler.
Peu de choix de dates de visio conférence pour l'utilisation, je n'ai pas pu assister à la conférence complète et il était question de pouvoir le revoir en replay mais je n'ai eu aucun retour sur le sujet.

A bit bulky, but easy to use.

The tap is too low to easily collect the liquid from the composter. Also, the closed and open positions of the tap are not marked, so you have to wait until it starts to leak by accident to find out the right position.

Le robinet est trop bas pour permettre de recueillir facilement le jus du composteur. De plus il n'est pas indiqué les positions de fermeture et d'ouverture de ce robinet, il faut donc attendre qu'il commence à s'écouler par accident pour découvrir la bonne position.

The unit is quite aesthetically pleasing. Handling the trays is easy, but it shouldn't be any bigger because it would be a bit heavy.

L'objet est plutôt esthétique. La manipulation des plateaux est simple, mais il ne faut pas plus grand car ce serait un peu lourd.
