Natural fibre substrate, carbon-­based material and start-up

This natural fibre blend has been specially developed by Ferme du Moutta to offer a healthy, chemical-free substrate for your compost worms. Unlike some store-bought soils, it doesn't contain any substances that could put off the worms, ensuring the best possible environment for their growth.

Perfect for starting your Worm compost bin, this substrate provides your worms with a balanced and immediately effective environment. It efficiently replaces shredded card or paper and makes it easy to produce a light, airy, high-quality vermicompost, while limiting excess moisture within the compost bin.

By adding this substrate for every portion of food waste, you guarantee an ideal balance of carbon- and nitrogen-rich materials, ensuring a fast and efficient transformation into usable compost. It also helps maintain a stable pH and a healthy setting, minimising unwanted insects and keeping your worms protected.
