Made from recycled coffee grounds, this bio bucket is an eco-friendly and practical solution for collecting your organic waste before composting. It's specially designed for users of compost bins and wormeries, making daily sorting and preparing waste for composting easy.

Thanks to its compact dimensions and 3.7-litre capacity, this bio bucket fits perfectly into small kitchens and on worktops. Its modern, minimalist design with rounded edges ensures easy cleaning. It also has an ergonomic handle for simple, comfortable carrying.

The self-supporting lid can hang from the bucket's rim using its inner hook, saving space and making daily use practical.

Made from eco-friendly and durable materials, including recycled coffee grounds, it helps reduce waste and promote a circular economy. Every year, several hundred kilos of coffee grounds are reclaimed to make these bio bins, thereby reducing environmental impact.

The Urbalive bio bucket is the perfect companion for your wormery. Letting your waste begin decomposing before transferring it to the bin makes life easier for the worms and optimises the composting process, resulting in rich, effective compost.

Your questions about the Urbalive 3.7L Bio Bucket

The farm's answers to the questions our customers ask us most often.

The Urbalive bio bucket holds 3.7 litres: it is the most compact of our bio buckets, designed for small kitchens. It sits easily on a worktop, within easy reach while you peel.

Its self-supporting lid hangs on the rim of the bucket thanks to its inner hook, so there's no need to put it down beside you while filling.

With its 3.7-litre capacity, the Urbalive bio bucket is ideal for a single person or a couple. As a general guide, a 3 to 4 L bio bucket is enough for 1 or 2 people who empty it often; a 6 to 9 L model is better suited to a family.

Empty it 2 to 3 times a week into your composter or wormery: its small size makes this quick and easy. For a family, take a look at our Urbalive 6L bin or Maze 9L instead.

The Urbalive 3.7L bio bucket is made in the Czech Republic from recycled plastic that incorporates recycled coffee grounds. Every year, several hundred kilos of coffee grounds are recovered in this way to make these bio buckets.

Its clean design, rounded edges and ergonomic handle make it pleasant to use every day and easy to clean.

No, the two complement each other. The Urbalive bio bucket is for storing your scraps for a few days before taking them to the composter or wormery. A bokashi bucket, on the other hand, is airtight and ferments the scraps with an activator, which means they can be kept for several weeks, meat and fish included.

The bio bucket collects the day's scraps, and the bokashi is filled once a day.

A few days, emptying it at least once a week. The Urbalive bio bucket acts as a staging point between the kitchen and the wormery: during this short storage period, the peelings begin to break down, which your worms appreciate, as they have no teeth.

Just watch out for scraps that are off-limits for worms. It is the ideal companion for your wormery.

As a complement to my Skaza Organko 2 Bokashi Composter, it's perfect.
Day to day, it collects the waste and avoids opening the composter unnecessarily.
The only small downside: it always stays a bit stained...
