Aegir is a 100% natural limestone source, made from shell fragments from the North Sea. Rich in calcium carbonate (96.1% CaCO₃), it raises soil pH gradually and durably, without shocking the soil microbiology.
Thanks to its coarse structure, calcium is released slowly, providing a long-lasting buffering effect (up to 3 years) and a natural stabilization of soil acidity. In addition to calcium, Aegir supplies a wide range of minerals and trace elements beneficial for soil fertility and structure.
