The Best of Outdoor and Aerobic Composting, Effortlessly!
Exclusively in Europe at La Ferme du Moutta, discover the premium 245-litre rotating composter everyone is talking about. Designed to make composting easier while also making it faster, cleaner, and more efficient, it is revolutionising garden organic waste management.
No more old static composters hidden at the back of your garden, hard to turn and prone to bad smells or pests. With the Maze rotating composter, there's no need to turn your compost by hand or fight against rodents.
Faster, effortless composting
Thanks to its patented gear-and-crank rotation system, a few regular turns are enough to perfectly aerate your waste. The result: compost breaks down 2 to 3 times faster than with a classic composter, in ideal temperature conditions.
The ergonomic handle makes turning the drum easy, while the gear ratchet lock automatically secures the drum for safe, comfortable use.
Dual chambers: continuous composting
Its biggest strength lies in its two independent compartments.
When the first is full, simply start using the second. While one is maturing, carry on filling the other. Once the second is full, the first is ready to be emptied.
You never have to stop composting.
The multiple adjustable air vents ensure optimal aerobic decomposition, limiting unpleasant smells and rapidly turning waste into rich, balanced compost.

What waste?
You’ll need to separate your garden and organic waste into two main categories: "greens" and "browns", also called “soft” and “hard” waste.
1/3 green or soft waste
Add one third green waste: fresh organic matter rich in nitrogen and carbon, such as lawn clippings, weeds, fruit and vegetable peelings, faded flowers, eggshells, and leftovers from plant-based meals. Do not put food scraps like meat, fish, shellfish, or ash in the composter.
2/3 brown or hard waste
These should make up two thirds of your total waste – dry organic matter that mainly brings carbon, which is essential for microorganisms, plus a bit of nitrogen. This includes: coffee grounds, dead branches, chips, wood fibres/shavings, dry plants, dead leaves, or cardboard cut into small pieces.
