Did you know?A Maze rotating composter turns in seconds: mixing compost has never been so simple, even without a large garden.
Maze was founded in 2004 in Australia by Ronen, who grew up in a small farming village. Maze has remained a family business: his wife Hayley develops educational resources for younger generations. Maze's head office is in Clayton, near Melbourne.
Maze designs products for composting at home and in the garden. Maze rotating composters are developed and designed in Australia: a reinforced, UV-protected drum, a divider creating two chambers, a geared handle and a coated steel frame. Part of Maze's manufacturing takes place in Australia, the rest with selected partners.
At Moutta Farm, we chose Maze for the simplicity and sturdiness of its composters. With us you will find Maze rotating composters, the TinyWorm wormery (the Maze Worm Farm, renamed TinyWorm for Europe) and its spare parts, the Bokashi Composter Confort and the Maze 9L compost bin. All Maze items come with a 2-year guarantee.
Questions about Maze products
Maze 180L or 245L rotating composter: which should you choose?
The Maze 180L rotating composter is well suited to a small household or a small garden. The Maze 245L rotating composter takes more kitchen and garden waste, making it ideal for a family. Both Maze models have two chambers: one fills while the other matures.
Do you need accessories with a Maze rotating composter?
The Maze rotating composter works on its own. To harvest and transport compost, the Compost collector trolley 55 litres slides under the drum. In the kitchen, the Maze 9L compost bin collects peelings before you take them to the composter. On the 245L model, the EASY-TURN handle reduces effort thanks to its 3 gears.
Maze rotating composter or TinyWorm wormery: which is right for whom?
The Maze rotating composter goes outdoors, in the garden or a yard, and also takes green waste. The TinyWorm wormery is used indoors or on a balcony, with compost worms, and produces vermicompost and compost tea. The TinyWorm is therefore well suited to flats.
Can the TinyWorm wormery be extended?
Yes. The TinyWorm offers 6 litres of usable space per tray, and an extra Tray for TinyWorm lets you add a level to compost more. All TinyWorm spare parts are available: legs, lid, drawer, juice tray, hose.
