The Worm Café, one of the Australian pioneers in vermicomposting, is among the largest tray-based models.
It easily adapts to all spaces: kitchen, pantry, basement, garage, or even the garden (as long as it is protected from high temperatures).
Its three large rectangular trays offer efficient recycling of organic waste for households of up to 6 people.
Stylish feet help protect against ants. Four ventilation slots on the trays provide optimal aeration.
This wormery includes a reservoir in the liquid catch-tray to make collecting worm tea easier. The tall feet are a real advantage – there are 23 cm between the floor and the tap, making it easy to place a bottle and collect the worm tea.
Its black plastic design made from 100% recycled material makes the Worm Café your perfect partner for recycling organic waste.
Additionally, the top tray features a rough surface to help the worms move up into the upper trays.

Advantages
Perfect for larger families:
- Its two large trays provide plenty of capacity.
- It can be kept open thanks to handles beneath the lid.
- Low environmental footprint, being made entirely from recycled plastic.
- Its design will suit any indoor or outdoor space.
Principle and use:
As the lower compartments fill, simply add another tray and move up one level. The compost worms gradually move upwards, attracted by the addition of fresh organic matter. Vermicompost and compost tea are collected from the lower levels of the wormery.
