The WORMwood wormery in FSC certified pine wood, manufactured in Europe with natural materials, will easily fit into your kitchen, pantry or garage.
This model includes 2 working trays of 28 litres each (ideal for a household of 2 to 3 people).
Breathable — a wooden composter, thanks to its material, is naturally breathable, which means less compost tea is produced because the wood absorbs the excess moisture generated as your waste decomposes.
Fun and educational, it proves to be the ideal partner to teach waste recycling, suitable for both the youngest and the oldest. A great educational tool for schools.

Advantages
The WORMwood wormery has many advantages:
- Durable construction materials,
- Large working trays, 28 litres per tray,
- Plastic bottom grid with high durability (wooden composters typically use steel grids, which rust and degrade quickly due to acidity).
- Plastic compost tea collector hidden in the base.
- The inner walls of the trays are protected by a geotextile membrane to ensure the wood lasts longer.
- Sturdy and stable.
- Made in Europe.
Principle and use:
As the lower compartments fill up, add a new tray and move up a level. The compost worms gradually climb up, attracted by the new waste, to feed on the fresh organic matter. Vermicompost and compost tea are collected from the lower levels of the wormery.
