The In-Ground Urbalive Wormery by Plastia is designed to be buried in a planter, vegetable patch, or raised bed. It's the perfect ally for the gardener wanting to turn their planting area into a worm compost bin, feeding your plants with your organic waste. Made from recycled plastic.
Boasting a large 12-litre capacity, it enables you to process plenty of waste with compost worms.
Easy to use—just insert the tube into your bin/pot or planter so it’s fully buried up to the widest section (to prevent insects from entering), and then fill the tube with your kitchen scraps.
It’s recommended to finely chop your scraps to help the worms digest the material faster.
Once you’ve placed the worms in your planter, they'll feed daily on the waste in the wormery and gradually spread throughout the new environment.
Included: a complete vermicomposting guide plus a detailed 20-page user manual (size 21 cm x 21 cm, in English) to walk you step-by-step through use and care of your wormery.

Comes complete with:
- 1 Terracotta lid with elastic,
- 1 upper Terracotta section,
- 1 lower section,
- 1 vermicomposting guide + assembly instructions in English.
This amazing ecosystem allows your plants to thrive with simple, natural care—less watering and no more need for fertilizer! Grow your own compost, which you can collect and use to feed other plants.
