Dendros Manure Worms (Dendrobaena veneta), large size (between 6 and 10 cm), average worm weight 1.7g, red/brown colour with striping, no babies or larvae included.
Every order is carefully prepared: worms are sorted and packed on the day of dispatch to guarantee their freshness, vitality and excellent health on arrival. The worms are weighed, not counted.
Moutta Farm chooses generous and quality packaging. Each box contains sorted and weighed worms, to which we add a quantity of substrate equal to twice the weight of the worms.
This bedding, developed on our farm, recreates an ideal biotope for their well-being and longevity.

Bait for fishing:
The dendro worm is a versatile bait worm, particularly sought-after for angling. Its large size, sturdiness and liveliness make it an excellent choice for many fish species, such as eel, barbel, bream, carp, chub, roach, grayling, perch, catfish, rudd, tench or trout.
It holds well on the hook and is suitable for river, lake and pond fishing alike.
Animal feed:
The Dendro can also be used as feed for certain reptiles and amphibians. It is suitable for Litoria type frogs, lizards like Tiliqua, and snakes such as Thamnophis species.
Certain insectivorous or omnivorous birds, such as chickens, ducks or pigeons, can benefit from worms as a dietary supplement.
Its size and nutritional value make it a suitable food source for many insectivorous and omnivorous species.
Your worms come in a box or micro-perforated bag allowing good ventilation and maintaining the right humidity level.
Keeping your worms:
On receipt, it’s best to put the box in a cool place, such as a cellar or the bottom of a refrigerator.
Kept like this, your worms will remain healthy for several weeks. To keep them lively, we recommend feeding them our special protein feed twice a week, just a light sprinkle and a little water to preserve moderate humidity.
If you want to keep them for several months, simply replace their bedding once a month, using our substrate or coco fibre.
